My name is M.Scott Gardner: I am an in active Mormon fine art framer. at the beguining of my contract with the LDS church museum, they suggested to me that I should adopt the image of the beehive as my logo. I quickly told them that I did not embody the Mormon ideal. they then told me the beehive was not a religious idea, instead it was a statehood concept of community and cooperation. Since 1983 I have proudly used the image of the beehive even though I do not belong to any group or organization. I love the beehive concept, I do not have any allegance other than that of mankind....M.S.G. from S.L.C.
